| An early 1920s Martinphone No 2 receiver restored to working order over a few months, the two valve receiver had been rebuilt to a circuit with anode-bend detector with reaction and a transformer coupling to an output valve had been used with the detector valve being an H210 and the output a PM1LF, a stabilised 2v power supply via rheostats for the LT and 10 PP3s form the 90v HT, the Bias is 1.5v. | ||

The 2 Valve receiver has short wave and long wave reception using an HL2 for the detection and a PM1LF for the output to a pair of high impedance phones or the BTH horn speaker, restored over a period of 3 weeks to an excellent high standard, most of the components are by Telsen, both receivers are part of a collection owned by M0WOB |
